This is an all purpose rub that we use on any dish that contains pork or chicken. It is amazing on smoked ribs, adds a BBQ flavor to grilled chicken breasts, and serves as a great finishing touch to any pulled pork or chicken. I’ve even used it around the rim of a glass for a great Bloody Mary twist. the chipotle powder gives it a nice smoky heat, while the basil and lemon pepper keep it tangy.
My advice is to keep a batch of this on hand at all times… especially during the summer. We keep ours in a giant mason jar, and I find myself reaching for it all the time.
Simple- just mix all of the ingredients below, then store in an air-tight container.
